Meet Kathleen Aspenns

Kathleen is a Certified Flower Essence Practitioner who works with people and animals of all kinds including dogs, birds, giraffes, vervets and even warthogs.

She’s a lifelong animal lover who’s always been interested in alternative healing and animal behavior, leading to work as a veterinary technician for eight years. She began using flower essences to help her moody parrot and, seeing good results, was compelled to study further.

Kathleen was certified as a flower essence practitioner by Jane Bell with the Alaskan Flower Essence Project in 2008, and continued her study with the Flower Essence Society, Essence Mentoring, Delta Gardens, Desert Alchemy, and more.

In her private practice, Kathleen works with people and animals all over the United States. She works with multiple lines of essences, including her own—Flora of Asia. She’s co-founder of the School for Flower Essences Studies and the Flower Essence Podcast.

In addition to her essence work, she also teaches the Tellington Method of bodywork and training for horses.

Here’s what Kathleen’s students say

This is a wonderful course to help your anxious dog! It offers concise but thorough information for working with flower essences, which are gentle and effective, for this issue, that anyone with an anxious dog can use. It is also reassuring that Kathleen is so calm herself. I work with animals and essences myself, and what was offered expanded my perspective. I highly recommend this course.

Carla S.

Kathleen delivers this info clearly and concisely. She offers great outlines that are easy to follow and the information is very helpful. You will learn a lot about yourself and your dog. Well worth the very reasonable investment.

Ava E.

Really informative and detailed course. I now have a new perspective on how to help my dog with his anxiety. I highly recommend this course!

Olga B.

Thank you, Kathleen Aspenns, for your course on Flower Essences For An Anxious Dog. I just acquired an Aussie/Collie puppy, and this course was just in time. Kathleen guides you through each chapter and explains the why, how, and when to use flower essences. There is a ton of information in this course. Best of all, Kathleen’s sincerity, extensive knowledge and experience shine through with each word. I highly recommend this course for every dog owner that seeks a more gentle way of calming their anxious dog.

Here’s what her clients say

The essences Kathleen recommended for my mare have made a HUGE difference. She can now focus, learn, choose to leave her herd mates to eat and tolerate change. She even controlled herself when encountering fireworks while being led. (WOW)

Julie Jene, Tellington Ttouch HorseTraining, Eastern WA

Kathleen really knows her stuff. I have had her make a custom blend for an unruly horse I had, and that seemed to help him. She recently made an essence for me, and I have to say, it works! She is very complete in her questions and really delves into what the issues are. I highly recommend her.

Karen Mountain

I have a 17 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She’d been aging fairly well, a little dementia and some hearing loss, but very vital! After a series of seizures and treatment by my vet, she was tense and disoriented. I called Kathleen…she sent me an essence combination that helped Tempest (and me!). No one understands the bond between animal and human like Kathleen.

Tempest is now running to the barn with me in the morning, jumping up on the bed and truly enjoying her world. She’s slowed down, we know she can’t go forever, but for right now, thanks to Kathleen, she has great quality of life.

Tamara, Chico, CA

Tux and Topaz are loving Kathleen’s essences! Tux waits for the drops to be put into his food bowl. He looks up at me and demands that drops and food go together.
